Test Engineer – Hadoop, Devops (w/m) Niedersachsen - #3651

- At least 5 years experience as Test Engineer in agile environment
- Experience with DevOps
- Understanding of data driven testing approaches and experience with testing tools and testing styles such as: unit testing, automated testing, continuous integration
- Familiarity with Jenkins job creation for test automation is a plus
- Experience with Hadoop/Hive development and testing is a plus
- Ability to understand business value requirements and acceptance criteria and translate them into test objectives

IHRE AUFGABEN

- Our customer is looking for an experienced Data Test-Engineer who is able to setup and run end-to-end Test for digital product developments projects based on Hadoop
- Setup "black box" test cases and tests for Data layer to compare source data with Hadoop on top of Unit Tests
- Setup Jenkins jobs to run test case chain
- Plan automated test cycles, integrate into overall testing procedure
- Ensure success of continuous integration and quality control through automation
- Work with Product Owner / Co-product Owners, Technical Architects and Development Team to understand functional and technical requirements, and create high quality solutions
