Test Engineer For Mainframes With DB2 Experience

For one of our clients we are looking for a Test Engineer

Task Description:
• Execution of projects from design phase to go live in a supporting and advisory role together with the Test Manager
• Assistance in end-to-end testing in versatile platform area
• Defect Handling, Testing, Lifecycle documentation
• Planning and installation of new components
• Transfer and testing of complex product structures
• Collaboration within automation topics cases
• Collaboration in planning
• Support of the Test Manager in feasibility phase and providing test scenarios and test

Required Skills:
• Good knowledge in HP QualityCenter (QC) or HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) user
• Experience with UC4 (or similar Enterprise Job Scheduling and workload automation systems)
• Experience with UNIX systems
• Knowledge in XML/SML-Validator and SoapUI
• Knowledge of SQL: Oracle and DB2 (IBM z/OS beneficial)
• Knowledge of TSO, JCL, File Manager (IBM z/OS)

Nice to have:
• Experience in Telco business, ideally in Billing area
• Knowledge of QuickTestPro or Unified Functional Testing UFC
• Experience in defining and executing of test cases and test scenarios
• Experience in defining and preparing of test data
• Analytical and networked thinking
• Experience in working in multicultural teams
• Fluent in German
