Job Description: Technical Test Engineer for Risk Methodology

You will be working in the Risk Firm Wide team in Zurich. Our role is to develop and support a strategic calculation platforms in the area of Firm Wide Methodology. The platform enables business users to develop risk calculations using tools like MATLAB, SAS, R, Stata and to automate and orchestrate the deployment and running of the calculations for delivering reporting to the financial regulators and shareholder through a reporting application.

As members of the of the engineering team for the platform, we are providing both Application Maintenance and Level 3 support.

Your experience and skills:

-in-depth knowledge of testing methodologies and practices
-Skilled in understanding Software Requirement Specification and identified the required Test Scenarios.
-designed tests utilizing appropriate Specification, Structural, Defect and Experience based Test Techniques
-performed Functional Testing to access for Accuracy, Suitability, Interoperability, Functional, Accessibility
-performed Non-functional testing to assess for Security, Reliability, Efficiency, Maintainability, Portability
-performed Regression testing for project
-documenting and presenting test results to IT and business stakeholders
-experience in Quality Center for defect tracking and for test cases execution and JIRA
-technical experience in Risk Models data analysis/statistics
-proficiency in advanced Excel functions (eg, creating formulas, macros, Statistical calculations) and test automation
-experience in Test Driven Development or replicating Models in Excel or other platform to verify numbers/Statistical calculations.
-proficient/hand on experience at least one any programming languages and basic knowledge or could upgrade his/her knowledge on R, Python, Matlab, SAS to understand/debug/dry run structure of code.
-experience in analysing large data using tools such as SQL (Oracle) and statistic.
-aligned with Banks QA Operations/Standards.
