Test Engineer - Dynamic Database Testing (4244)

For a 6 month project at our banking client in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

TEST ENGINEER - DYNAMIC DATABASE TESTING (4244)

We are looking for an independently working test engineer with experience in regulatory projects, ideally within the Credit Risk space.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- 4+ YEARS OF QUALITY ASSURANCE AND TESTING PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE WITHIN FINANCIAL AREA
- Deep and practical knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle
- Extensive SQL skills with experience on testing dynamic databases
- DATABASE OR TECHNICAL TESTING EXPERIENCE, AFFINITY TO USE AUTOMATION TOOLS
- ISTQB CERTIFICATION
- Experience in using JIRA and HP Quality Centre/ALM (or equivalent tools)
- KNOWLEDGE OF WATERFALL, AGILE, SCRUM, TDD
- Background in mathematics would be a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understand and review business requirements and specifications for test
- Design test cases, manage test documentation, execution and defects to completion
- Liaise with stakeholders through regular reports and meetings
- Manage and mitigate risks as well as flag to relevant people
- Suggestions/consultancy with new innovation in testing for handling extremely dynamic regulatory BoW
