TEST ENGINEER (DEVOPS)

A Test Engineer (DevOps) is urgently required for a long-term, lucrative contract position with a major financial services client in Amsterdam.

The Test Engineer (DevOps) will be part of a technical, global DevOps team that works on the creation and management of top quality software every day at a high, professional level, on the basis of the Scrum/Agile method and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices, with expertise and understanding of how the client works and what the end user needs.

The Test Engineer (DevOps) will work in a dynamic and complex payments solution environment. With an in-house developed/managed software package.

The Test Engineer (DevOps) will have the following skills and experience:

- Extensive experience as a Test Engineer and excellent knowledge of test frameworks
- Extensive Test Automation experience
- Experience of analysis and design of applications
- Coding & (package) configuration of applications
- Fluent English, Dutch speakers strongly preferred
- Writing and performing the functional, integration, user acceptance and production testing applications
- Scrum/Agile experience

The Test Engineer (DevOps) will be positioned in a challenging international work environment that bridges Payments business and information technology. The environment covers multiple projects and multiple Payments related applications.

The department adheres to Scrum/Agile and DEVOPS practices in its software development life cycle. The focus is on high-quality software delivered in time using iterative development with regular demos to the stakeholders.
