Test Engineer Controllogix

For this contract position with the leading industrial automation company, you will program, configure and run ControlLogix control system components in automation customer configurations for Functional and System Testing of control system components.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Develop and Follow detailed Test Specifications.
- Perform integration of test hardware and test software with product under test.
- Develop design documentation and test procedures for the test equipment.
- Execute tests according to Test Specifications and record results.
- Document work, tests, anomalies according to Test Department standards.
- Good communication skills.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics or electrical engineering, or computer science.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience with ControlLogix system components
- System Integrator experience is an important bonus
- Current experience and fluent with ControlLogix L6x, L7x products and/or CompacLogix Ly controllers
- Current experience and fluent with RSLogix5000 (Studio5000/LogixDesigner) software
- Demonstrated experience writing and configuring ControlLogix applications
- Current experience (Setup, Debug, and use) with Industrial Ethernet Networks using Cisco switching infrastructure a big plus
