Tester - Cable TV

Due to continued growth and demand on video services, our customer requires additional testers to join an existing international team in Amsterdam.

Role:

*Responsible for issue life cycle management
*Responsible for test definition and execution
*Occasionally writing test automation scripts
*Extensive cooperation with (internal and external) technology suppliers during integration, triaging and resolving issues
*As required, support the definition, installation, and maintenance of test equipment and systems

Experience
*Minimum 3 years of QA experience in Cable TV (VOD, Nagra CAS, cloud recording, Apps) and video CPE devices.
*Experience in manual test execution based on test cases written in Gherkin language.
*Experience with exploratory testing is a must.
*Experience in working with cloud connected video devices.
*Innovative in finding defects.
*Expose to python based test automation is a plus.
*Knowledge of DVB standards.
*Experience in networking - traffic sniffing, IPv6, WiFi, QoS
*Knowledge in test definition based on requirement in Gherkin language.
*Good to have someone who has experience in networking - wireshark tool, IPv6, wifi, Ethernet,
*Knowledge of HDMI standards
*BSc degree in Engineering or Computer Science

You must be willing and able to adapt rapidly to changing priorities and technologies, excellent English and be able to work under pressure and be prepared to work outside normal working hours when necessary.
