Test Engineer - Banking - Zürich

TEST ENGINEER - RISK MANAGEMENT & TRADING APPLICATIONS- Our client, a major financial services company, is currently looking for an experienced Test Engineer with a strong banking background and product knowledge.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Creating and reviewing test cases for a given product based on requirements and specifications documentation, and inputs from product developers
- Executing test cases during tests runs, analysing test results, reporting and tracking defects, and verifying fixes
- Reviewing requirements and specifications documentation
- Providing input to continually improve processes, & testing efficiency and quality

Skills and Experience:

- ETH/HTL degree in IT (or comparable professional experience)
- Certification ISTQB Foundation or higher
- Financial Services Background and experience with Accounting integration of new Bank Applications
- Strong experience in database optimization & performance testing
- Product Knowledge (FX- and commodity options)
- Good Excel skills
- Database (SQL) and Unix Skills
