Test Engineer - Automation
4-12 Month Contract | Lille, Belgium | 450 EUR - 550 EUR per day
Our client based in Lille, Belgium seek an experienced Test Engineer with a large expertise in software test development, execution and automation to support the team.
As Test Engineer, you should have a solid experience of discovering errors, resolving defects, and ensuring expectations are met with high-quality solutions.
TEST ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:
As Test Engineer you will be responsible for performing software tests on web applications and its Back End services. Some of these are manual but most of the tests should be automated. You are eager to help develop these automated tools and continuously improve the test process. You select the newest test tools and verify its usage. You have eye for details, you are very much aware of high quality products and you are motivated to provide fully tested solutions to end users. Motivated for providing high quality solutions through in-depth testingA team player driven by automated testing and growth towards software developmentSenior level members will mentor, coach and develop junior members of the team to continuously develop skills, follow processes and standards.
TEST ENGINEER KEY SKILLS:
- Expert in test case development and test automation.
- Experienced in acceptance/regression testing
- Working knowledge of following frameworks (or other similar tools)o test case development: Mocha/Chaio test automation: Protractor/Selenium
- Familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio, JetBrains Resharper, GIT, Jira and Confluence
- Understanding the full software development life cycle and methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and TDD best practices
- English speaking and writing skills
