We are currently recruiting a Test Engineer for our client based in Belgium for a 6 month contract
Our client is a specialized manufacturing company serving principally aerospace and defense markets. Covering:
- Avionics & Controls
- Sensors & Systems
- Advanced Materials
We are looking for an experienced test engineer with background in civil and military standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461/704/810, DEF-STAN, CE, )
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Within the Product Validation Group, part of the R&D-team for Rugged, Air Traffic Control and Avionics products, you evaluate and optimize the reliability and level of compliance of our products in accordance to the requirements and avionics, military
- you conduct design verifications;
- you give input to the technical writers, which compile the clients test reports and review/approve these after completion.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- You have experience in equipment level test practices in the Aerospace & Defense industry, preferably in display & computer type of products
- Knowledge of International Environmental Test standards (MIL STD, DEF STD, DO STD, IEC STD ...) is required.
