Test Engineer

This role is based within the ADAS team within my clients Electrical Engineering department.

This Design Validation engineering position will be within a team coordinated by a Lead Engineer and will own/contribute to the following engineering tasks and deliverables

*System and functional verification methods.
*HiL design validation and test reports
*Vehicle/system design validation and test reports
*Diagnostic validation
*Functional Safety verification according to ISO26262
*Competitors benchmarking
*Issue identification, investigation and resolution with relevant stakeholders (system engineers, component engineers, suppliers)
*Co-ordinate vehicle test schedules and requirements
*Fleet Management and DV Co-ordination
*Lead Testing Events and Resource Management

For this position you must hold a Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points

You will be Pro-active with good personnel skills and business behaviours and have knowledge of Test Methods and Development

You will have the ability to generate and implement new ideas for process improvements and be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Sharepoint)

MATLAB Skills would be a Desirable.

A particular knowledge of validation methods within driver assistance systems, chassis control systems, advanced external lighting systems, powertrain control systems is desirable. Good understanding of PCS design and delivery processes would also be a plus
