Test Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a member of our Test and Validation team, you will thrive in a dynamic and exciting environment. The scope of the role includes testing systems that encompass data capture/sensing including video, RFID, locationing, and Real Time data analytics. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in technology and testing business solutions. This role is responsible for planning and conducting a variety of testing functions to ensure that all products meet requirements. This includes: UI testing, web service testing, issue logging, and tracking status.
Work with the software Test, PM, and Development teams to understand requirements
Design and execute manual test cases to validate software functionality and user documentation
Participate in functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing of our applications.
Analyze test case results
Identify defects, issues and risks within the software system.
Validate bug fixes
Work with the development team to help reproduce any issues found.
Work closely and proactively with the development and product teams to determine the best way to increase the quality of the product
Report and track defects resulting from the test effort in the bug tracking tool.
Ensure all timelines are met or exceeded.
Provide status reports to management and project team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent test skills, passion for quality, and attention to details
Experience creating test plans.
Experience executing manual test plans.
Good verbal and written communication
