Test Engineer

THE TEST ENGINEER CONTRACT IS WITH A CONSULTANCY TO BE ON AN ASSIGNMENT TO A LARGE EUROPEAN SITE IN DEN HAAG, NETHERLANDS AS FOLLOWS:- MANDATORY: working knowledge of English; a minimum of 6 years experience in various areas of software testing; a minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting non-functional testing activities (eg performance, availability, security); a minimum of 1 year of experience in organizing/contributing to operational acceptance testing (OAT) of in-house/outsourced developed applications; a minimum of 1 year of experience reviewing requirements and defining acceptance criteria; a minimum of 2 years of experience testing JAVA based enterprise solutions; a minimum of 1 year of experience testing on Linux environments; a minimum of 1 year of experience in multi-national or law enforcement projects.

In addition:- Knowledge of the fundamental test process; Knowledge of performance testing techniques; Knowledge of system integration testing; Knowledge how to approach and organize operation acceptance testing; Knowledge of formal reviews of requirements and definition of acceptance criteria; Knowledge of performance testing of Java applications and Java performance tuning; Knowledge of Linux.

We will need at least to have candidates who hold/can easily obtain a certificate of good conduct .
