For our client in telecom industry we are looking for a Test Engineer
Start: ASAP
Location: Between Brussels and Antwerp
Duration: 3-6 months (extension possible)
Language: English (Dutch is optional)
Our client is Telecom/Internet service provider. For the team which handles the in-home networks of the clients, we are looking for a test engineer. You will test in-home and public networks in a lab setting using reference devices. Your main focus will be looking at functional feature verification testing, with additional focus as needed on QoS (Quality of Service) en QoE (Quality of Experience). Problems will be documented, evaluated and solved in design or software.
Profile:
- Telecom Test Engineer
- Internet and networking background
- Lab testing and troubleshooting of broadband CPE products
- Knowledge of Lan/Wlan networks and related protocols, QoS, QoE.
- TCP/IP Networking experience in Telecommunications, ISP or IT industries.
- Specific knowledge and experience of Wi-Fi technologies will be helpful.
