Test Engineer

This Test Engineer will be involved in system integration, verification, and validation efforts working closely with the System Integration and Testing team, as well as, other system and sub-system teams.

Responsibilities will include:
. Conduct system reliability testing
. Develop and document test plans
. Maintain meticulous test logs, track issues associated with system performance, and communicate with the concerned team members.. Develop accurate reports and document test results for various stakeholders
. Work closely with the various system, sub-system, quality, and reliability groups
. Develop and maintain test fixtures: Engine Simulators, Customer 360, Displays and Engine Room Control Panels
. Support general lab activities: read electrical schematics, build wire harnesses, test circuits, organize lab, and document Best Practices. SKILLS:

REQUIRED:
. Bachelors degree or equivalent technologist degree in an accredited Electrical Engineering
. Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a test engineer
. Experience working on complex electro-mechanical systems
. Experience working with data acquisition tools and instrumentation
. Experience developing and executing test plans
. Electrical Schematics, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel

DESIRED:
Experience with marine engine electronics hardware and software
Experience with CANape, CANalyzer
Experience with Datalinks: J1939, NMEA2000 and/or Modbus Familiarity with Hand Tools
