TEST ENGINEER - CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY IN ZÜRICH

We are currently looking for a German speaking Test Engineer on behalf of our client, a distinguished global IT company in Switzerland. For this contract opportunity in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking Test Engineer with experience within banking or Financial Services to join them as soon as possible.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THE ROLE:

- Strong Communication Skills in German and English is mandatory
- 1-2 years testing experience with at least 1 year in Banking Industry
- Higher Education or equivalent expertise
- ISTQB foundation level
- Experience with several Test management tools
- Has a structured and pragmatic attitude

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

- Comply with test strategy, testing standards, templates and test plan
- Supports Test Manager in defect triage
- Conducts tests and documents/logs test results and defects
- Execute test cases and provide evidences
- Identifies and track defects
- Perform Functional Testing to assess for Accuracy, Suitability, Interoperability, Functional, Accessibility
- Perform Non-Functional Testing to assess for Security, Reliability, Efficiency, Maintainability, Portability
- Perform regression Testing for project, product and PRV (Production Readiness Verification)
- Utilize Test Management- and Execution tools according to Test Strategy
- Creation of test data based on predefined requirements
- Clean up test data within the used test environment
- Perform communications as per project communications plan
