I am urgently looking for a Test Engineer for my client based in brussels.
My client is a well known company!
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create test cases and test documentation
- Execute test scenario's independently and check if the solution works as described
- Work together with the functional analyst and developer
- Prepare test data
- Report defects in Microsoft Test Manager
- Follow up defects and retest the defects when they are fixed
- Report problems in time to meet deadlines
- Keep track of the test case execution status, update the execution status on a daily basis in Microsoft Test Manager for progress reporting purposes
- Work according to the test & quality standards
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in analysis and modelling techniques specifically in developing test specifications (test scenario's, scripts, conditions )
- Has experience in test methodologies (ISTQB, TMap)
- Understanding and knowledge of Information Technology
- Is a pragmatic thinker oriented towards finding solutions
- Is able to document his/her work in a structured way
- Is analytical and structured
- Has a strong interest to understand the business processes of a customer
- Has excellent communication & negotiation skills
- Experience in Utility industry is an asset
- Is Dutch speaking and has a professional level of English (both verbal and written)
- Is flexible & stress resistant
- Has a focus on quality
- Is proactive & challenging
- Respects deadlines
- Is accurate
6 months ++ contract
