Test Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a TEST ENGINEER to join our client in Marshall, Michigan.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Support product engineering through test operation, component inspection and analysis of data.
- Applies proficient technical knowledge in the execution of engineering activities required for assigned customers including all phases of design development, testing, and field failure analysis.
- May require direct interface with customers for new product development, problem solving, product improvement and cost reduction activities.
- May be required to provide mentoring for junior-level employees on equipment, procedures, specifications, etc.
- Supports reporting on quality metrics and/or test results through engineering reports and written correspondence to ensure timely and effective communication with supervisors and peers.
- Assists in the implementation of design changes to improve quality, performance, cost reduction, and standardization through analysis of designs and problem solving techniques.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Associates Degree in Engineering or related field preferred with two to four (2 - 4) years of applicable experience OR high school diploma with six to eight (6 - 8) years of applicable experience.
- Has a developing interest in state-of-the-art technology as well as in the development of new products and processes or improvements to existing products and processes.
