Test Engineer

The contract is with a consultancy with an assignment at a large European site based in Den Haag, Netherland as follows:- REQUIREMENTS:

Language skills: Good working knowledge of English

Professional experience:

Essential:
A minimum of 6 years experience in various areas of software testing, including: 
A minimum of 4 years of experience in conducting functional testing; 
A minimum of 2 year of experience in organizing/contributing to acceptance testing (UAT/OAT)  of in-house/outsourced developed applications; a minimum of 1 year of experience in systems integration testing.

Desirable:
2 years of experience in conducting non-functional testing including: performance testing (load reliability testing (robustness
1 year of experience in conducting technical security testing;
1 year of experience in using the following tools: HP Quality Center; Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (for defect management);
1 year of experience in formally reviewing requirements and defining acceptance criteria;
1 year of experience in functional test automation with VBScript using HP QuickTest Professional (Functional Tester);
1 year of experience in multi-national or law enforcement projects

Professional Knowledge;

Essential: Knowledge of formal specification-based test techniques (equivalence portioning, boundary value analysis, etc);

Desirable: Knowledge of ISTQB terminology, demonstrated by passing the relevant certification exam(s); Knowledge of SQL and Linux; Knowledge of Java and JUnit.
