Test Engineer

My client is seeking an experienced TEST ENGINEER with a proven background in WEB AND MOBILE APPLICATION TESTING. This role is based in Dublin, and is for an initial two month period.You will be responsible for:

- Defining, developing and conducting test cases that will verify all aspects of requirements and wireframe designs in the application.
- Executing regression, integration, system, performance and UAT tests according to the test specification. Analyze and report on test results.
- Providing regular reports on test task progress to the project team.
- Working with the development team to ensure all bugs are reported, reproduced and fixed.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

- 3+ years experience in web and mobile application testing.
- Good understanding of requirements management and traceability.
- Experience of writing test cases and documentation for web and mobile applications.
- Experience of manual testing, automated testing, and performance/load testing.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.

Although not essential it would be a bonus to have:

- Experience of testing Web UI's (Accessibility, HTML validation)
- Experience of an Agile Development environment (SCRUM)
- Experience of security testing
- ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (or solid industry experience)
