Test Engineer

The Test Engineer develops test requirements and test procedures for new PET/CT products. The Test Engineer is involved in all facets of system level qualifications, including functional testing, environmental, HALT, and ESD immunity testing.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

- Develop requirements and test procedures as well as traceability between the two in DOORS
- Executes test procedures
- Practices good GDP practices
- Perform test procedure and results reviews
- Prioritize and schedule testing, provide status updates
- Support product development teams and provide needed pre-qualification and verification testing
- Enters defects found in testing
- Support the qualification of lab area productivity improvement efforts, including testing, building fixtures, calibration and data collection.
- Provide knowledge of test equipment set-up, functional operation, and InterconnecT of related equipment.
- Review necessary support documentation and maintain documentation for each test in a neat and organized fashion.
- Good communication skills and works well across the multiple sub-teams working on this project.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree with 5 years relevant work experience or Master's degree in Physics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or closely related discipline.
- Broad exposure to one of the Medical Imaging systems (MR, PET, SPECT, CT, X-Ray)
- Exposure to Design Controls (or other medical device regulation)
- Experience in programs that control the design of the device in order to ensure that specified design requirements are met
