Use expert knowledge to guide the strategic direction of CIO Delivery team in testing, quality management, and delivery/cost efficiency initiatives
-

Key Interface between LGTC team and CIO, other Corporate groups and Affiliates on all testing related items
-

Coordinate the engineering, implementation and administration of Test Tooling Systems used by the CIO key outsource partner.
-

Performance manage the testing SLA of the CIO key outsource partner
-

Assure clear standardized reporting is set up to provide a uniform view on E2E test progress/risks/issues regardless of the project. Assure this is implemented by key outsource partner as well as adopted by other parties involved in Integration testing
-

Together with the Manager LGTC own the vendor relations with all testing parties
-

Find cost reduction initiatives and efficiency improvements on utilization of key outsource partner as well as other 3rd parties involved in testing
-

Continuous Improvement plan to support innovation and team throughput
-

Acquire and develop in house tooling for higher testing throughput/efficiency
-

Provide support to internal IT delivery teams, and external technology partners, as required to ensure deliveries quality criteria are met and within the allocated budget

Takes responsibility for the production and approval of all testing deliverables and achievement of testing milestones during a project
-

Assure that the CIO part of the committed release roadmap is delivered on time, within budget and according to the agreed quality standards.

Coordinate testing of all IT elements required for committed programs, including those elements not delivered by parties outside the Senior Director Service Delivery's team and vendors.

- International Travel is required as deemed necessary by the Senior Director Service Delivery

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

-

Extensive knowledge & experience in Testing Methodologies (ISTQB, TMap testing standards)
-

Knowledge on Test Automation, standardization and Quality management processes
-

Basic knowledge of TMMi model (Test Maturity Model Integration)
-

Experience:
-

Minimum of 2-3 years related experience in a Service Provider environment on testing, test management and test methodologies
-

Minimum of 3 years working in multi-tier international organization
-

Minimum of 3 years working in a Java-based development environment
-

Experience with B2B projects
-

Experience with latest web technologies
-

Experience with TPI (Test Process Improvement)
-

In depth software quality assurance experience including proven management, supervisory, or leadership experience
-

Experience of coordinating people to complete tasks
-

Extended knowledge in:
-

QA and Testing Methodologies
-

Quality Management Procedures
-

Expert technical knowledge of cable and IP network technologies, cable and Telco company operations and IT solutions

Experience driving operational efficiencies through innovative partner and vendor management

Experience with working with offshore testing centres

Excellent communications skills, with the ability to confidently communicate effectively and concisely to all employees, including senior management, preventing misinterpretation and ensuring mutual and shared understanding

Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working partnerships at all levels through a collaborative approach with a wide range of groups, including internal departments, Affiliates and vendors
