Assignment: As the Test Centre Lead, you will drive the delivery of all applications (Altiris, App-V, Manually scripted), user acceptance tests (including PC imaging, refresh, and provisioning), trouble-shooting issues with remote delivery, application installation and connectivity, network access, Active Directory maintenance and other related issues preventing successful UAT testing

You will manage and provide engineering support to ITS technical resources responsible for the setup of physical and virtual test clients, including tracking the successful installation of ECB core components, profile specific applications and associated optional software packages, and helping test and sign off on production version of software packages undergoing UAT.

As the Test Centre Lead, you will ensure packaging follows ITS standard, that personnel understand these processes, and that all proper ITS packaging processes are followed before client goes into production.

Skills Required

For the assignment the following skills are required.
In depth knowledge of the Windows 7 platform in a large corporate environment (50,000+ nodes); including tools and techniques for migration to Windows 7 (Microsoft hard link technologies, USMT, and other automated provisioning tools);. Expert knowledge of packaging processes and tools, including Scripting languages (.vbs, .msi). Professional experience with centrally managed desktop solution Altiris in large corporate environment (50,000 plus nodes), including knowledge of software delivery, server redirection, bandwidth throttling, and more;. In depth knowledge of file and print infrastructure and migration techniques; including file and print experience and associated management tool sets;. In depth knowledge of Windows Desktops Back End environments, since key components for the desktop are affected, such as MDS, File and Print, App-V, Anti-Virus (SEP) and Business Applications (SAP, Oracle Financials, AS400). Technical project lead capabilities proven in a global organization,. Knowledge of Windows Branch Cache technologies, Storage (replication) and Back-up systems such as NetApp or EMC. Virtualization technologies such as VMware/NSX with extensive clustering experience -VMWare Professional 5 Certified or relevant experience a big advantage;. Networking technologies, including IPv4 and IPv6 mixed environments, virtual networks (NSX), Riverbeds, SQUID technologies, NAT experience, highly desirable;. Willingness to travel to Germany/Czech Republic on a regular basis;. PMP or Prince2 Practitioner certification required
