Test Automation Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Specialist for an exciting, long term project at our Client. You will be working in a team of highly experienced professionals in a state-of-the-art environment.

Work location: Den Haag, The Netherlands.
Starting ASAP. 40 hours per week.
Excellent daily rate.

Job description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create an architecture blueprint for automated testing based on the technical and application landscape.
- Demonstrate and coach the development of continuous delivery automation testing solutions
- Assist in recommending and developing test tools for the QA team
- Review products and technologies for inclusion into the QA practice
- Follow engineering best practices and provide technical mentor-ship to test engineering team members

EXPERIENCE:

- Experience applying DevOps and Continuous Integration concepts including automated test orchestration with tools like Jenkins and Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing tools such as (HP QTP, Selenium, IBM RFT, SoapUI)
- Many years of experience in designing Automation Frameworks for complex integrated systems.
- Experience explicitly testing web/Front End, middle-tier web services and Back End database components
- Experience in developing integration and end-to-end tests for complex solutions for large-scale enterprise systems
- Proven ability to build lasting relationships across leaders and stakeholders to drive the adoption of automated testing
- Sharp in communication and ability to lead technical discussions among a variety of technologists.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and rapidly develop the appropriate test solution.
- Programming experience in JAVA, good coding practices and improving code quality.
