Test Automation Specialist

For our client based in Lausanne, we are looking for a Test and Acceptance Automation Specialist.

Start date: ASAP

Duration: until the end of year 2014

Tasks description:

- Ensure the expected quality and accuracy of the software deliverables.
- Prepare and maintain the test cases for automated testing tools.
- Write and maintain the test scripts to validate each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results (HP Quick Test Professional).
- Participate in the development iteration and acquire competencies on the developed functionalities
- Provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements and the agreed planning.
- Participate actively in the market and end-user acceptance phases.
- Provide estimates and feedback to the Software Development Manager for project scheduling purposes.
- Collaborate with other teams to prioritize and resolve issues
- Give support to the developers to resolve issues and defects

Skills and experience:

- Significant experience (2-5 years) of testing in complex environments and large companies
- Significant experience with test automation.
- Experience with writing and executing functional test cases.
- Experience with analysing and documenting complex technical issues.
- Experience with HP tools (ALM, QTP, etc.)
- Knowledge of development and testing methodologies
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in French
