Test Automation SME - Glasgow - Investment Banking

Top Tier Investment Bank is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join their expanding Test team, based in their Glasgow offices.

The team has been expanding for 18 months now as part of a new initiative focusing on a technological overhaul.

The team is currently globally made up of 5 Automation Test Engineers forming part of a larger global testing group of 150.

The client is seeking a Test Engineer with strong Test Automation experience.

Day to day tasks vary from regression testing, testing established releases and defining test strategy for test cases. The team have a huge amount of existing code which you will have to leverage, so a background in software development/engineering is highly advantageous.

The ideal candidate must have:

Strong experience as an Automation Test Engineer

Knowledge of software development/engineering

Commercial experience of either C# or Java

Strong scripting

Experience working within a financial institution is a nice to have but not necessary.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about Testing.

This is a permanent position based in the Bank's Glasgow office.
