Test Automation Engineer Job

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER IN TEST needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Jose, CA.

- Top Skills You Should Possess
- Python Programming
- Linux debugging skills
- Basic networking protocols such as Telnet, SSH, FTP, SNMP, XML, LDAP

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Seven (7) plus years of experience
- Software development with emphasis on test automation and QA.
- 50% of the position will be programming of new features while the other the other 50% of the job will be doing Linux Software debugging on new hardware

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strong programming skills using one of the Scripting languages, preferably TCL
- Solid understanding of general IP Networking
- Good working knowledge of Linux OS
- Solid knowledge of commonly used tools/protocols, such as Telnet, SSH, FTP, SNMP, XML, LDAP, Etc.
- A good understanding of computer architecture
