TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for an experienced TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER to join one of their clients, a well renowned global IT firm. For this contract engagement, we are seeking an English speaker who is immediately available.

YOUR PROFILE:

- Previous QA testing experience
- Programming skills sufficient to automate test APIs and GUIs
- Proven track record in a similar environment:

1) delivering software solutions to demanding product owners;
2) acting as a team level QA within an agile team - Experience in:

- GUI automation technologies such as Selenium or leanFT
- developing Agile Test Plans
- exploratory testing
- IntelliJ
- Java - Basic Java knowledge
- Cucumber
- Jenkins
- XML
- Xpath
- RESP API & WEB API Testing - Basic conceptual knowledge
- Programming language (Java/.NET .) experience would be a plus
- Knowledge in the following would be beneficial:
- test driven development and continuous integration & deployment
- Scripting, such as PowerShell or Shell Script
- experience of scaled non-functional testing
- test automation tools such as SpecFlow, Fitness, JBehave or Rspec
- experience of Specification by example
- Excellent technical and interpersonal skills
- Financial industry knowledge is a plus
- Good communication skills (English, German is a plus)

START DATE: ASAP

DURATION: 6 months with high possibility of extension
