TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER

Out client is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the company on a 12 month long contract position with option for extensions. Ideally, the candidate will carry a broad spectrum of programming experience, particularly with Java and/or JavaScript as well as proven experience with Jenkins within the financial industry. The client's office is located in Zurich. As mentioned, this is a contract-based assignment.
Tasks
- Set and establish testing tools and standards, integrating them to the current build pipeline of the business
- Execute both manual and automated test scenarios
- Work alongside developers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, communicating with other departments within the company for infrastructure changes
- Monitor bug reports and track the process throughout its various stages, from rooting to fixing
- Assist in Quality Assurance of the application
Requirements
- Programming experience within the financial industry, particularly with Java and/or JavaScript
- Developed knowledge and experience of Jenkins
- Understanding of HTML single page applications
- Good knowledge of Linux
- UX testing experience
