TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER SANTA CLARA, CA 9 MONTH CONTRACT

The candidate in this role will be responsible for developing Camera firmware functional validation plans, coverage, test case execution, and test debug. Responsible to identify opportunities for automation, implement driver and firmware validation test apparatus and tools, run driver and firmware validation tests, and debug Camera driver and firmware. Candidate should possess good oral and written communication skills and should demonstrate the ability to work well in a diverse team environment and with others in cross-site organizations along with the ability to analyze problems, diagnose root cause, and apply corrective actions.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years of C/C++ and Scripting skills (Perl, Python, Shell)
- 5+ years of strong problem analysis and debugging skills and demonstrated experience
- BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

PREFERRED:

- Experience in Camera Firmware and driver validation
- Experience in validation of phones and tablets
- Experience in automation of end user testing
