INTRODUCTION

Within the sector Development & Engineering is responsible for the specification and the design of products.
In this sector, the department Software Architecture & Integration (SWAI) specifies, executes and controls the testing and integration of the software of various subsystems into a complete software release.

JOB MISSION

To continuously optimize the test process, new testcases at system level must be continuously created. If done manually, the execution of those testcases would become to cumbersome to keep up.
The test automation engineer is responsible for automating testcases on system level as much as possible, thereby guaranteeing that those testcases can and will be run.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Ensure a fast and efficient testing and usage of test hardware.
Extend and maintain automated testcases on system level, that can be run unattended and can determine automatically whether the outcome is passed or failed.
The aim is to minimize human errors, to speed-up test actions and to move actions from prime time to night time.

EDUCATION

HBO+/WO education level
Technical or computer science

EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years experience with Unix or Linux
Experience in Scripting is necessary.
Experience with test automation and Python are a plus

PERSONAL SKILLS

Teamplayer
A strong communicative personality with a pragmatic attitude.
Good knowledge of the English language, Dutch preferred
Takes ownership, decisive.

OTHER INFORMATION

Work during office hours. 
Dutch speaking candidates are a pre. 
Agile/scrum experience is a pre.
