Looking for a high level C# Developer with OO design skills to do test automation, code and write the code within the already developed UI to drive the data within the UI. Wriring coded UI framework, code to drive test scripts. This is a six-month contract with a good chance for a six-month renewal. This company develops software for the financial industry.

Job Description

The Test Automation Developer will be responsible for implementing automated tests, as specified by business analysts, in C# using Microsoft's Coded UI Test Framework. In addition, the test automation developer will design and develop tools and solutions to facilitate automated testing of QRM's Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Responsibilities will include operational support, maintenance and enhancement of existing modules for the test automation framework, and coding of new test modules. The developer will work closely with product analyst and application developers to resolve issues found during automated testing.

Qualifications

Candidates must have object-oriented development experience using C#, Java, or C++. They should also have experience working with relational databases and possess intermediate-level proficiency in SQL. An excellent academic record that includes coursework in the area of programming/computer science is required. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team are desired qualifications. Experience with MS Visual Studio and .Net/C# is a plus. Script writing skills are also highly desirable. Experience with Microsoft Coded UI or other test automation tools is desirable, but not required.
