Test Automation Analyst

The Test Automation Analyst will ensure the targeted systems that require automation can be automated. We will use a varied set of tools for automation including Fitnesse, Java, QTP and other industry software.

The Test Automation Analyst will be responsible for the development and production of the Automated Test Packs that can then be part of the Regression Packs for the E2E Testing and beyond.

Reporting into the Head of QAT in London, the candidate must have strong experience of working on global cross functional systems and have worked in an End-to-End Investment Banking role.

The candidate must be comfortable working with all areas in the business and have a background in Derivatives, FX and equity swaps domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Test Automation Strategy and build out and be able to make decisions on best technology to apply within the automation sphere. Some travel may be required.

2. Duties - Prepare the Test Automation Strategy
Own the development and execution of the Test Strategy
Work as part of the Global QAT Team and the wider Programme Team
Detail Test Automation Technology
Understand and comprehend all systemic interface types
Implement and Demo Test Automation's to Programme Stakeholders
Prepare Weekly Automation Updates
Escalation and problem fixing abilities will be key
Report to the Head of QAT

3. Essential knowledge/experience - Must have experience of Derivatives' or equity swaps (TRS required/Portfolio Swap desirable).
Experience of regulatory reporting projects (MiFID/EMIR/Dodd Frank, Volker)
Bachelor degree required, preferably in Computer science, Mathematics, Finance or Technology
minimum of 5 years' experience as a Test Automation analysts in an investment bank;
exposure to relational databases and able to use SQL to aid their analysis;
comfortable communicating with business and IT
Hands On Test Automation skills
JAVA/C/SQL programming skills
experience leading and managing a small team

Desirable
Knowledge of the MiFID II requirements
Regulatory Reporting
Experience with business analysis techniques
Experience working in Prime Brokerage
