My client, a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Dunton, are looking to recruit a Test and Development to join their Electrical Engineering Product and Development division on a 6 month contract basis.

Job Title: Test and Development Engineer
Reference: 44149
Rate: £20 - £25 per hour
Location: Dunton

Position Description:

*Test and Development planning for commercial Vehicle programs

Skills Required:

*Be able to liaise with engineering teams and understand test requirements to gain Engineering signoff for new Transit programs
*Co-ordinate engineering requests and ensures in-line with E-FDVS
*Attend relevant program meetings and be T&D SPOC (Single Point Of Contact) for new Transit programs
*Take over and administer existing T&D plans
*Administer existing and new vehicles from first registration and Tax through to Disposal

Skills Preferred:

*Knowledge of Transit

Experience Required:

*Vehicle engineering
*Budget tracking using EXCEL

Education Preferred:

*Automotive/Engineering Degree
