Test and Acceptance Specialists

ROLE: The Test and Acceptance Specialists are in charge of validating the business critical applications that are developed or integrated by the Software Factory.
The mission covers all functional (and non-functional) aspects of testing, including non-regression, integration and acceptance tests.

OUR CUSTOMER NEEDS FOUR TEST AND ACCEPTANCE SPECIALISTS WITH FOLLOWING JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- A Test and Acceptance Apps Specialist Review
- A Test and Acceptance Load Specialist Review
- A test and Rollout Specialist Review
- A test and Acceptance Automation Specialist

PROGRAM/PROJECT FOCUS:

. Ensure the expected quality and accuracy of the software deliverables
. Write and maintain the test scripts to validate each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results (HP ALM)
. Participate in the development iteration and acquire competencies on the developed functionalities
. Provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements and the agreed planning.
. Participate actively in the market and end-user acceptance phases.
. Provide estimates and feedback to the Software Development Manager for project scheduling purposes.
. Collaborate with other teams to prioritize and resolve issues
. Give support to the developers to resolve issues and defects

KNOWLEDGE AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

. Significant experience (2-5 years) of testing in complex environments and large companies.
. Significant experience with managing market's expectations.
. Significant experience with testing apps/test cases
. Significant experience with writing and executing functional test cases
. Experience with analysing and documenting complex technical issues.
. Experience with HP tools (ALM, Performance Center, QTP, etc.)
. Knowledge of development and testing methodologies

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Fluent in English and French (writing and speaking)
