Test and Acceptance Automation Specialist

For a major international client in Lausanne, we are looking for a:

TEST AND ACCEPTANCE AUTOMATION SPECIALIST

to validate the business critical applications that are developed or integrated by the Software Factory.  

The mission covers all functional aspects of testing, including non-regression, integration and acceptance tests

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Ensure the expected quality and accuracy of the software deliverables

Prepare and maintain the test cases for automated testing tools

Write and maintain the test scripts to validate each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results (HP QUICK TEST PROFESSIONAL)

Participate in the development iteration and acquire competencies on the developed functionalities
-

Provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the quality requirements and the agreed planning

Participate actively in the market and end-user acceptance phases

Provide estimates and feedback to the Software Development Manager for project scheduling purposes

Collaborate with other teams to prioritize and resolve issues
-

Give support to the developers to resolve issues and defects 

CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:

-

Significant experience (2-5 years) of testing in complex environments and large companies
-

Significant experience with test automation
-

Experience with writing and executing functional test cases
-

Experience with analysing and documenting complex technical issues
-

Experience with HP tools (ALM, QTP, ETC.)
-

Knowledge of development and testing methodologies
-

Fluent in English and French(both oral and written) 

This is a contract position with an international client, located in Lausanne, until the end of 2014  in the first instance. 

Info-Tech will provide advice and support through your relocation if you are working in Switzerland for the first time.
