Test Analysts

A Government Department at Canberra requires the services of several Experienced Testers to support the Employment Systems Group on a range of Employment Services Programmes project work.  

Candidates will be expected to:

- Analyse specifications and changes required to perform the testing process
- Write, review and execute test cases
- Raise defect reports and manage re-testing of defect fixes, and
- Assist with the planning, monitoring and management of the testing process.   

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

Demonstrated system testing experience in a complex large scale environment, with a MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS SYSTEM TESTING EXPERIENCE including:

- Demonstrated experience in being able to analyse complex business and technical specifications
- Demonstrated experience with writing, reviewing and executing complex manual test cases
- Demonstrated experience in defect management
- Demonstrated experience using industry testing tools (eg HP quality Centre, MTM)
- Demonstrated experience in interrogating and querying databases using tools such as RC Update, Hyperion, SQL Server Management Studio, and
- Ability to learn new applications, business processes and procedures quickly

The Contract Time frames for the Services: 10 November 2014 - 30 June 2015

Australian Citizenship is a requisite while a Baseline Security Clearance is desirable.
