Test Analyst - TMAP - Agile - DWH/Data Warehouse - Automation

The Test Analyst is an independent critical thinking part of a multi-disciplinary project team. As the project team uses agile practices the Test Analyst works closely together with the business and the project team members to come up with a product risk analysis, to develop a test strategy and to investigate the application and the application's risk profile.

The Test Analyst is empirical and informs the project team, line management and business about his observations of the system under test. The Test Analyst collaborates with the project team to automate tests where possible. Test preparation, test execution, progress reporting and communication about testing activities with the project team are part of the Test Analyst's task. The Test Analyst proactively discusses improvements to testing.

Tasks:
* make test (iteration) plans and/or deliver input on testing activities for project plans
* make sure that environment is set up and properly configured
* anticipate on changes, and adjust plannings and/or take corrective actions when and where necessary
* responsible for the issue management process and the reporting and discussion on issues with project managers and business representatives
* provide, where and when necessary, useful information on the quality of the test object(s) and the status of testing activities

Test Analysis:
* test the system by investigating and questioning the product in order to evaluate it with a solid understanding of business, systems and requirements.
* provide open and transparent information about the system under test to the relevant stakeholders.
* take part, from start to end, in the provisioning of the system that is released into production.
* provide test principles and procedures to the relevant stakeholders to be followed during the development cycle.

Test Automation:
* proactively collaborate with your project team to automate tests where feasible.

Required experience (Must)
* Min. 2 years experience in testing
* Knowledge of and experience with test standards like TMap Next and/or ISTQB
* Knowledge of and experience with Agile
* Knowledge of and experience with Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD)
* Significant agile testing experience (to prevent mini waterfalls)
* Significant test automation experience in a DWH environment (to lead the way instead of inventing an approach by trial and error)
* 'Can do' mentality to explore alternative workarounds etc.

Preference:
* Experience in or demonstrable affinity with international wholesale or retail banking
