Test Analyst/Tester

TEST ANALYST

We are currently looking for an experienced hands-on Test Analyst to join a project team implementing a financial credit risk modelling application in an international environment with many Dutch stakeholders.
You will be the one of two testers on the team, managing tasks such as test planning, coordination and progress reporting as well as initiating improvements to testing. You will also be required to support/drive the design and development process while working in an Agile manner.

Classification criteria/Scope of the Role
You:
- make sure that environment is set up and properly configured
- are responsible for the issue management process and reporting/discussing issues with the project manager, business stakeholders and team members
- act as a sparring partner for the project manager on test related issues
- have a helicopter view and strong risk assessment skills, but also hands-on tester (responsible for test designcommunicates well

Job requirements
- Proven experience in a test role in a complex environment and/or large projects, have good analytics skills (MUST)
- At least five years experience in testing (MUST)
- At least two years experience in Financial Services (MUST) with knowledge of financial credit risk systems (Desirable)
- Good knowledge of web Front End testing including the use of Selenium/Visual Studio (MUST)
- Strong SQL skills to enable testing of web services/calculations/reports
- is not shy of understanding mathematical functions (MUST)
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written (English and Dutch)
- Knowledge of TFS
- Knowledge of .NET in order to write glue code or debug code (C#)
- Experience of test automation and knowledge of Specflow/Cucumber
