Test Analyst - Immediate Start

The key purpose of this role is to execute testing for a major program of work, working within a large enterprise environment.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Develop test cases and execute testing to plan
- Understand the scope of the testing program
- Work closely with the program teams for planning and scheduling
- Identify and communicate data and environment dependencies
- Review and provide input to end to end business transaction based test scenarios
- Assist in ensuring test environments ready and available for testing in the absence of Environment Manager
- Identify and provide input to test data requirement setup
- Act as or coordinate (as appropriate) with Defect Manager for status and turn-around time of defects
- Liaise with the development team/and Dev Team leads to ensure defects are quickly rectified
- Prepare the required test data

YOU WILL HAVE

- A postgraduate qualification or equivalent combination of education and/or experience in testing ie. ISTQB
- Significant experience using HP-QC
- 3-4 Years experience in Manual testing
- Experience in the Utilities or Telecommunications sectors
- Experience in the testing of telecommunications (Wimax and 3G)
- Experience troubleshooting end-to-end networks
- Experience testing WAN/LAN
- Experience building test scripts at all stages of testing
- Strong communications skills
