Test Analyst | Government | XBRL

An opportunity has arisen for a Test Analyst in the Government sector.

This is a 12 month contract, with the prospect of further extension. With a great environment and CBD location, this is a fantastic role to further your skills. You will need to have at least 3 years of experience as a Test Analyst and comprehensive knowledge and experience testing at all levels of the SDLC

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO POSSESS THE ABILITY TO:

- Develop test cases from design documents
- Create test data, flat text files, XBRL files
- Execute assigned test cases as per the execution plan
- Keep test lead updated on progress and issues
- Raise defects with appropriate details
- Provide additional information as requested by the build teams where required for defect analysis/fixing.
- Provision of accurate reporting to management on status, issues, project, risk etc.
- Train and mentor staff and assist in the transition of skill and knowledge transfer of BDE and ECI changes to permanent staff members

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

- 3 years experience in Testing
- Experience in testing Sterling B2B Integrator
- Demonstrated understanding & creation of test data for XBRL & flat text files, CXML & SQL
- Extensive experience of testing WebSphere MQ
- Experience in creation of flat files, test data, XBRL files
- Experience with test tools such as HP Mercury Quality Centre, Application Lifecycle
- Experience with AQL, CXML, XBRL
- Experience using WebSphere MQ
- Experience in testing at all levels of the SDLC
- Standout organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
- Creative and analytical problem solving skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
