TEST ANALYST/DATA WAREHOUSE/CAPITAL MARKETS/ASSET MANAGEMENT

In this project you will contribute with the implementation of a new investment, accounting and reporting system, and enable the transformation to a new operating model of the Operations department.

Role description and activities:

- Creation of quality test requirements/cases from source documentation
- Execution of manual functional and integrated test scenarios via HP ALM QC
- Creation of accurate and concise defect/issues input via HP ALM QC
- Liaise with business teams as required to agree delivered test scenarios and provide walkthrough of test results.

Domain and system knowledge needed:

- Solid background within Data Warehouse testing
- Experienced in Client & Fund Accounting and Reporting processes
- Knowledge of Capital Markets, Derivatives, FX, MM & Alternative Investments and fund characteristics.
- Experience of working within different project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum etc)
- Experience capturing requirements and test cases in a test management tool, ideally HP ALM QC
- Good understanding of test phases from functional through to user acceptance
- Understanding of data base structures and interrogation techniques (SQL, PL/SQL)
- Experience of testing with Markit EDM, Tibco and Data Warehouse a distinct advantag
