Test Analyst Business Intelligence Tester TMAP

Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a skilled Test analyst for an exciting global BI programme in central Copenhagen overlooking the waterside on the old sid of the city for a hige multinational client.

The ideal consultant will have worked as a tester on BI program previusly and have good exposure and knowledge of Business intelligence and hopefully some knowledge of the Teradata product.

Job description/Overall position description with general areas of responsibility listed:

The Test Engineer is the project member responsible for implementing and executing test cases including the necessary preparations/setup for the test execution. The Test Engineer is also responsible for recording the test execution results in the test protocol and test log.

Specific Tasks to be performed during the engagement/Key Deliverables/Milestones:

Review of requirements (Includes being involved in the projects from an early stage in order to understand the requirements)
Involved in definition of acceptance criteria
Designing and implementing test cases.
Performing tests before delivering stories/features, including exploratory tests.
Performing test on designated test levels
Recording defects (includes a close interaction with the development team in order to provide feedback about defects that are detected)
Preserving test ware
Test process improvement (Contribute towards improvements in the Test processes and documentation)

Module/technical skills required:

Development tools methodologies to be used:
Test Framework
Risk based testing

Must have/mandatory skills:

Test Specific
Certified TMAP Test engineer
Extensive knowledge about specification of test engineering documentation
Extensive knowledge about structured testing eg
o Test design techniques
o Risk based testing

Knowledge about:
o Test in the development process (LEAN and v-model)
o Agile test

Experience with
o The use test design techniques
o The use of test management tools (HP Quality Center)
