Test Analyst

We are urgently recruiting for Test Analyst to join our client located at The Hague in Netherlands. This is a 200 days' contract, due to start by 25 April 2016 (indicative date). The required language is at least level B2 English.

Your working hours shall be on a full time basis (40 hours a week during 5 working days).

Tasks to be performed
The consultant will perform the following tasks/services:
- Conduct independent test analysis, design and execution of functional and technical tests using available testing tools at Europol;
- Contribute to acceptance testing (UAT/OAT) of the Solution;
- Writing and maintaining test scripts for manual and automated testing of the Solution;
- Creating representative test data for the Solution.

Mandatory requirements: (Please list relevant projects (incl. name, duration, and employer) showing how this experience was acquired)

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting functional testing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in organizing/contributing to acceptance testing (UAT/OAT) of internally/externally developed applications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in testing JAVA based enterprise solutions
- Minimum of 6 months of experience with Palantir Gotham or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of experience with Visual Studio Team Foundation Server or equivalent

Professional Knowledge - mandatory or desirable
Mandatory: (Please list relevant projects (incl. name, duration, and employer) showing how this experience was acquired)
- Theoretical knowledge of the fundamental test process
- Knowledge of testing on various test levels using a variety of test types

Knowledge of test design/execution using the following test design techniques:
- Specification-based (or behavior-based or Black Box); Structure-based (or White Box); Defect-based, Experience-based
- Knowledge of how to:
- determine suitable test approaches,
- compose suitable Test Documentation,
- define suitable acceptance criteria
- review structurally work products from other teams
- Knowledge how to approach and organize user acceptance testing/operational acceptance testing
- Knowledge of ISEB/ISTQB[2] terminology, (demonstrated by passing the relevant certification exam(s)
- Knowledge of standard functionalities and components of Palantir Gotham or equivalent
- Knowledge of standard functionalities of Visual Studio Team Foundation Server or equivalent

Desirable:
- Knowledge of Linux Shell commands
- Knowledge of system integration testing
- Knowledge of data migration testing
- Knowledge of SQL
