Test Analyst

For our customer in Brussels we are looking for a test analyst with experience in one of the next applications or processes: 

- Datawarehousing
- Java Web 
- API testing 

Job Summary:

You will be a member of the  test team responsible for the delivery of tested systems into production by interpreting business and technical requirements and executing functional testing activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

- Participate in all functional testing levels including static, system and system integration and where relevant non-functional testing
- Analysis of requirements specifications and design documents uses structured techniques to identify testable conditions
- Execute functional test plans and cases to ensure alignment with standards
- Create test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow
- Conduct tests and analyze results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and/or client requirements
- Drafts and revises test cases

- Report directly to Senior Test Analyst/Team Manager as appropriate
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other IT Services functions and customers to expedite delivery of IT solutions
- Responsible for test delivery of cases & results

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle including Functional & Non-Functional Test Phases
- Awareness of Test Tools in the market place
- Excellent attention to detail/motivated by delivery
- Ability to work and team effectively with clients and members of the team
- Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
- Ability to escalate accurately and efficiently
- Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 2-4 years experience in testing or related discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in an IT related environment
- Experienced in client-facing roles

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Working towards ISEB Foundation in Software Testing or equivalent
