Test Analyst

Are you an experienced Test Analyst that can assist with testing of Data Centre Relocation projects? Keep reading!

There is an opportunity for a 3 month contract to work as a Test Analyst, the job will involve a combination of both manual and potentially some automated testing and you will report to the Test, Change and Release Manager.

The Test team is a small team so you must be able to work with minimal supervision and work cohesively in a small team environment. The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members is essential.

THE TEST ANALYST WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Creating Test plans prior to test script preparation.
- Preparing test documentation including test data, test conditions and cases;
- Creating and maintaining re-usable testing scripts using Microsoft Test Manager Deriving maximum operational efficiency and effectiveness through innovative testing practices such as automating the repetitive testing areas like regression and sociability testing.
- Working closely with the ITS project teams to ensure that requirements are well understood and that the solution meet business objectives.
- Adapting and embracing new business processes and technical working environments.

AS THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE YOU WILL HAVE:

- Experience with testing tools like Microsoft Test Manager (MTM) and TFS (desirable)
- Knowledge of Microsoft technologies like Microsoft Sharepoint and CRM
- Experience in adapting to and embracing new business processes and technical working environments.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical testing solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and plan and prioritise work accordingly.
- High level communication skills demonstrating an ability to communicate at the technical, business and personal levels.
