Test Analyst

A 12 month contract position available for an experienced Test Analyst within a great Government department here in Canberra.

CORE DELIVERABLES

- Build & Maintain effective relationships with test personnel, development teams and business areas
- Analyse system documentation in order to develop testing deliverables
- Creation of comprehensive test cases for a variety of systems
- Conduct peer reviews for deliverables
- Execute System Test cases for a wide range of systems developed by or for ACBPS
- Ability to provide reports on Progress & Quality as requested
- Identification of defects and monitoring through to resolution
- Take responsibility for escalating unresolved risks or issues

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING:

- Ability to effectively organise, plan and deliver services
- Assist the team lead in providing estimates
- Manage and prioritise multiple tasks
- Contribute to and be responsible for achieving team goals
- Ability to access and use information and emerging technologies
- Analyse and create various documentation
- Evaluate information quickly and make decisions strategically

RELEVANT TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE THAT DEMONSTRATES:

- Experience in software and system testing
- Understanding of the SDLC
- Good knowledge of testing processes and/or test management tools
- Understanding of Quality Assurance processes
- ISTQB Qualifications
