Test Analyst

Highly-sought Government organisation is seeking a Test Analyst for a long term contract with several extension options.

DUTIES:

- Produce test strategies, plans, cases and summary reports.
- Develop and execute test scripts.
- Test components and certify their readiness for production.
- Track resolution of issues identified during testing and prioritise in conjunction with developers and managers.
- Communicate with network, system and application developers, test team and the Test Manager regarding the stability of, and changes to the organisation's software undergoing testing.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Skills and history as a Tester working on large corporate systems
- Highly developed written skills pertaining to test plans, cases, strategies and summary reports.
- Excellent proven communication and people skills including client liaison and documentation
- Experience and knowledge of:
- test methodologies and procedures
- creation of test strategies, plans and test cases
- Ability to undertake application and SOE infrastructure testing as required, under limited supervision.
- Knowledge and/or experience of testing tools and techniques - preferably Quality Center 10.0

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

Knowledge/work experience with the following technologies:

- Windows 2008 Server
- Windows7
- Active Directory, SCCM, SCOM
- SQL 2005/2008
- Microsoft Exchange
- SharePoint 2010
- Web technologies (.Net)
- Dynamic CRM
