Test Analyst

TEST ANALYST POSITION

My client is one of the largest consultancy in world is currently seeking for a Test Analyst to work along side with their client in Lille - France for an initially a 6 months contract with a view to extend.

This role is part of the testing team. The test analyst will perform both a test designer role as well as ensure the successful execution/processing of test cases. The test designer role includes identifying the appropriate methodologies, tools and guidelines to implement the required tests cases. For test execution, he/she will identify and define the required tests, monitor detailed testing progress and results in each test cycle, and evaluate the overall quality of the testing cycle. This role also requires providing technical inputs to test plan.

Functional & Technical skills

- Quality Centre (ALM) Version 11.00
- PL/SQL query
- Basic understanding of Oracle databases
- Excel 2010
- French Language knowledge (Not mandatory, but a strong plus)

Mandatory requirements

- Minimum 3-5 years of work experience as Test Analyst
- Able to work in project language English
- Basic understanding of Retail domaine applications

Deliverables

- Designs Test Cases
- Works collaboratively with Testing team members & Test Leads on large projects
- Responsible for Test Plan execution
- Responsible for documentation of technical aspects of testing in work products used in SDLC for their team's area of responsibility
- Providing technical inputs to Test plan
- Status Reporting to stakeholders
