Test Analyst

- MUST be Australian Citizen and have TSNV2 clearance
- Minimum 5 years experience as a tester
- ISTQB Foundation Certificate highly desirable

We are seeking a qualified TEST ANALYST for an immediate start contract until 30 Jun 2014.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE:

- a Negative Vetting Level 2 Australian Government Security Clearance.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications; formal qualifications in computer science and/or software engineering or commensurate experience.
- Minimum 5 years experience working as a tester or working in a test environment
- ISTQB Foundation Certificate (Highly Desirable)

IN THIS ROLE THE TEST ANALYST WILL:

- Produce test strategies, plans, cases and summary reports associated with baseline, migration and acceptance testing of all applications being migrated to a virtual platform and application being migrated to physical platform.
- Produce test strategies, plans, cases and summary reports associated with establishing a business resumption site in line with the requirements specified in the Business Continuity Plan.
- Develop and execute test scripts.
- Formulate the test component of the acceptance into service documentation.
- Test components and certify their readiness for production.
- Track resolution of issues identified during testing and prioritise in conjunction with application and facility owners.
- Communicate with network, system and application developers, test team and the Test Manager regarding the stability of, and changes to the applications software, network components and IT infrastructure undergoing testing.
- Maintain a register of known issues for each case being tested.
- Utilise specialist knowledge to continuously improve the conduct of testing processes.
